Klamath Basin Junior Rodeo is Oregon’s largest one day junior rodeo with more than $5,000 in added money!

  • Senior Events: $250 added per event with 10 or more entries, $150 added if 9 or less entries, $500 added in team roping. All Around Saddle for high point Boy & Girl, Saddle Certificate ($1,200) or $1,000 cash option
  • Junior Events: $250 added per event with 10 or more entries, $150 added if 9 or less entries. All Around Saddle for high point Boy & Girl, Saddle Certificate ($1,200) or $1,000 cash option. 10 & under $100 cash incentive in every event!
  •  7 & Under Events: $100 added per event, event buckles awarded. All Around Awards for high point Boy & Girl. (Dummy Roping does not count towards All Around)
  • 7 & Under Dummy Roping, enter at the rodeo, no added money. Buckle to winner.

Contestants from all across Oregon. California, Idaho, Nevada and Washington. The Klamath Basin Junior Rodeo (KBJR) is Oregon’s longest running junior rodeo, it’s become part of Klamath Basin’s heritage. Parents and Klamath Basin Rodeo Committee members are active in volunteering their time throughout the year to make this rodeo a success for the youth who participate. 

Three Age Divisions Compete

age as of January 1st.

7 & Under (boy and girl combined)

Junior: 8-13 Girls, 8-13 Boys

Senior: 14-18 Girls, 14-18 Boys

Contestants may compete in upper level age group – NO All Around POINTSONLY MONEY AWARDED.
